Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete the personal data Jawbly holds about you and your business at any time. When you do, we remove it from our live systems without undue delay and from backups within our normal backup cycle.

If you use Jawbly on behalf of a business, that business controls its customers’ data. A request to delete a customer’s data is handled by the business through its dashboard, and Jawbly deletes it on the business’s instruction.

The fastest way to remove data is directly in the dashboard:

• Delete individual contacts, conversations, orders and records from their pages.
• Delete assistants, skills and catalog items you no longer need.
• Close your account from Settings to remove your workspace and all of its data.

Prefer us to handle it? Email support@jawbly.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my data”, and tell us whether you want your whole account removed or only specific data.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request. Once verified, we complete deletion within 30 days and confirm by email when it’s done.

Data we receive through the WhatsApp Business Platform and Meta APIs, such as message content and a customer’s WhatsApp profile name, is deleted together with your conversations when you delete them or close your account, in line with Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

We may retain a limited amount of data where the law requires it (for example, billing and tax records), or where we need it to resolve disputes, prevent abuse or enforce our terms. We keep only what is necessary and delete it when it is no longer needed.
